It's been a while since I posted on here, but I am still very active with my writing on AO3 and Fanfiction.net. My Fallout fic 'Blue Jazz' is almost at 80k with a LOT more to go in the plot, my goal is to reach 200k with a completed story. Very Excited!
I used to have a small writing blog on Tumblr, but it's been more of a cause for distraction than I thought, so I uninstalled it from my phone and can only access it via. laptop, which is honestly enough for me to avoid it for the time being as I wasn't very active on the blog anyways. I'm hoping that I'll be more active here as a main blog instead.
I will be starting a Season of Kink bingo sheet that I hope to work on between work and my main fic. Will update again soon!

Fanfiction Romance
Sep. 9th, 2017 10:48 amJust posting some thoughts out here to help me think on another platform.
So, here's the thing with being both Ace and inexperienced with the entire dating/romance scene in general is that I have very little to no experience with either aside from what I've seen and read. I find it easy to really get into character and experience things like the horror scene, drama, suspense, and all that comes with it, but when it comes to a cute love scene, or romance, I get a little stuck? It never sounds right and I end up writing it over and over again until it fits, because as I've learned over the past two years writing 'seriously' is that I shouldn't call it finished or good enough if it seems even a little amiss, because chances are, it is.
That being said, I have had the odd crush, and felt like I was 'in love' in purely an obsessed and love-struck like of way but I find that has nothing to do with the foundations of developed love. I'm going to be writing a love between two characters that has been partially pre-established and is going to have some major complications, such as an identity crisis. For me, it's easy to get into self-loathing angst, to really get to the bones of a characters psychological feelings, but love? Peh. Not a clue.
I'm going to try the 'less is more' approach, not really trying to write out my characters inner complications of the dynamics of romance, instead pretending that they already know what the hell they're doing, because as characters who have both been either previously married or engaged, they will know. Me not knowing has nothing to do with it.
That moment when your characters know better than you do.

Sep. 7th, 2017 07:35 pmOriginally I've posted my works on both Archive of Our Own and Fanfiction.net, however I was recommended this site after I told my cousin I want to start a writing blog.
To start, I have a collection of fan fiction in the works, nothing but one or two that are complete. I have a massive fic in progress on both other sites called 'Blue Jazz' which is a slight AU plot to Fallout 4 featuring a Nick Valentine romance. I've twisted the genre to cater more to horror and supernatural aspects. The Commonwealth is haunted as fuck.
Between my monthly updates, I'm also working on another fic called 'The Blue Kingdom' from the movie Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, which is going to hopefully be a short work featuring a plot taking place 2 years after the events of the movie wherein Lord Yupa returns and finds the will of the late King which has contents that reveal Jihl's intentions to marry Nausicaa off to the Swordmaster himself. (a rarepair that I can find absolutely nothing on.)
I hope to make regular updates.
